After the serious act of violence on 4 February, there are many questions about municipal adult education and Campus Risbergska. On this page we will try to answer the questions you may have as a student.
Were you at Campus Risbergska on February 4th?
The investigation regarding the school shooting at Risbergska in Örebro the 4th of February continues.
The police have held almost 750 interrogations. However, there are still individuals left to be heard who were present at Risbergska during the shooting, and the police now wish to get in contact with them.
If you were at Risbergska or have information regarding the shooting and not yet have been in contact with the police, the police would like you to contact them . You can reach the police by:
All information regarding Risbergska is of interest to the police. Allow the police to determine whether or not it can help them further during the investigation.
The programs previously held at Campus Risbergska will gradually start during weeks 9, 10 and 11. Different programs will begin at different times.
For now, all education will take place at locations other than Campus Risbergska. Classes will be held at the following locations:
Regarding adapted adult education and Lärvux, planning is ongoing to determine where it will be conducted.
Education will not be conducted exactly as before; instead, flexible and creative solutions will be required. The principals, together with their staff, are responsible for planning and carrying out the teaching.
If you are a student in adult education, you will receive more information during week 8 about when and where your specific program will start.
There are different types of educational programmes in adult education. The education provided on site at Campus Risbergska will be closed during week 7 and week 8.
If you are a student in adult education, fully or partly, in a location other than Campus Risbergska, your regular schedule will continue, unless you have been given other information.
It will take some time before any activities can start again on the premises of Campus Risbergska.
At the moment it is unclear how long it will take but it is best to be prepared for a longer period where studies will need to be conducted in a different location or in a different way.
It is important that everyone tries to read the information provided via Lärplattformen as well as the updates on this page to know what applies to your particular programme.
The meeting place Club 700 is now closed.
When the educational programmes begin again, continued support will be available in connection with the programme for those who need it. Regardless of whether the education is provided from a physical location or digitally remotely.

Your child/children are very welcome to attend preschool even if the parent/guardian is not currently in an adult education programme or SFI. If anything is unclear, please contact your child/children’s preschool directly.
The retrieval of belongings at Stadsbyggnadshus 2 took place between February 25 and March 7.
Information on how to reclaim uncollected belongings will be provided later.
If you are an enrolled student at Campus Risbergska and were present during the violent incident on February 4, you may be entitled to compensation.
The Swedish Crime Victim Authority (Brottsoffermyndigheten) can provide guidance on compensation matters. Here you can read more about the support offered by the authority (in Swedish).

When your educational programme starts again, you will be able to get more information from your teachers, as usual, but at the moment we try to update everyone with the information available, here on this page and via Lärplattformen.
The basic principle is that you as an income support recipient should not be financially affected by the fact that the educational programmes at Campus Risbergska are not running at the moment. If you have any questions about your specific case regarding financial assistance, you can contact Örebro Municipality’s Servicecenter 019-21 10 00, servicecenter@orebro.se, to get in touch with your case officer.
Your planning with the Swedish Public Employment Service will continue even during the period when no education is provided. This means that you follow the instructions given by the school. If you are unwell and unable to participate in your studies, you can report your absence via arbetsförmedlingen.se. If you are unable to continue your studies, you need to contact the Swedish Public Employment Service via orebro@arbetsformedlingen.se.
If you intend to apply for municipal adult education, you can do so in the same way as usual. More information about the application can be found on the Application and Admission page.
If you have been admitted to one of the municipal adult education programmes but have not started the programme yet, you will receive information about what will happen and how that programme will start.
